In 1999 Everblue
Nursery opened it's Bearspaw operations on
the corner of Crowchild Trail and Rocky Ridge Rd.
NW. The next year the nursery moved further west to
the corner of Crowchild Trail and Twelve Mile Coulee
Rd. where it remains today. In 2001 Everblue
began runnning a second location in Calgary on Highway
#8 west of Calgary in the Springbank area. The Springbank
site is much larger than the Bearspaw site and stocks
a larger variety of trees.
In 2003 Everblue Nursery
acquired land on the west side of Highway #2 between
Olds and Bowden, Alberta. This farm, known as the
Silverblue Nursery, is being developed
to grow a large variety of trees primarily for the
Calgary market. Development of the Silverblue
Nursery began in 2004 and will continue indefinitely
with the first harvest of trees having already happened
in the fall of 2005.
In the spring of 2004
Everblue harvested the first of the silver
blue spruce trees planted in Sundre, Alberta and will
continue to harvest these trees at varying heights
until 2014.
| Everblue
Nursery is proud to be a member of Landscape
Alberta Nursery Trades Association (LANTA) and
will continue to provide high quality trees to
Calgary and area homes and businesses for years
to come. |
